We use Live interactive video conferencing for our classes. You will get full attention since we allow only 4 students per batch.

CONTENTS

🎯 Film genre – Screenplay as a blueprint. Various genres and their unique style, creative scope and limitations of each genre.

🎯 Your story – Where to find ideas. How to select your film idea and develop it. How to tailor your story to fit the budget.

🎯 Story structure – The classic three-act narrative structure. Create Plot points to give dramatic impact to your film.

🎯 Plot – Plot and its relationship to Character/ Genre. How sub-plots correlate to the central plot.

🎯 Character – How to develop and strengthen your characters. Define the character arc for the hero.

🎯 Dialogue – How to communicate the thoughts and feelings of characters through crisp and meaningful dialogue.

🎯 Screenplay format– How to format your screenplay using international scriptwriting software.

🎯 Revision – How to rewrite and enhance your Script.

🎯 Selling your script – How to write a Pitch for your script. How to pitch it to Producers, Directors and OTT platforms.

CERTIFICATE will be given on successful completion of the course.

TUTOR   Mr.Sam Kumar is the Founder-Director of Mirage Film Institute in Chennai. He learned Script Writing in the US, directly from *Syd Field*, considered, the father of modern scriptwriting. He has been teaching Script Writing course to Indian and International students for over 12 years.

DURATION:    Duration is 4 weeks with 2 classes on weekends or weekdays. There will be daily assignments and reviews.

LANGUAGE:  Classes will be conducted in ENGLISH.  The students will write their script in their own language.
