There will be an Exhibition of “ENVIRONMENTAL PORTRAITS” by Sam Kumar at Art Houz gallery in Jenny’s Residency, Coimbatore. A collection of 25 photographs he has captured during last 3 years will be on display. In connection with the exhibition Mr.Sam Kumar will give a free Seminar at the Gallery and a 2-Day weekend Workshop in Ooty.

WORKSHOP:
OCT 15-16 Saturday and Sunday, Ooty:
On Saturday we will cover ‘Nature Photography’. We will shoot a lot of Landscape, Travel and Flower photographs in 4 locations in and around Ooty. Sam Kumar will suggest subjects to photograph, give technical advice and help you take a nice shot. You will capture the scenic beauty of Ooty and surroundings with lots of photos.
On Sunday we will shoot sun rise pictures early morning in the amazing backdrop of blue mountains. After breakfast, we will start ‘Outdoor Modelling Photography’ with a Model. Sam Kumar will demonstrate Portrait and Modelling photography with the model. We will shoot in 3 locations in and around Ooty. You will learn to work with natural lighting and understand how to pose a model for a pleasing photo. You will shoot a lot of pictures of the model to add to your portfolio.
Fee Rs. 3,000. Includes accommodation for two nights, Travel from Coimbatore to Ooty and back, local transportation in Ooty, model fee and food. 25% discount for students with valid id-card. The fee does not include return travel from Chennai to Coimbatore.
